Printed Documents

A printed document can be generally defined as a published account; an account that was published in  newspapers, books, periodicals, almanacs, cookbooks, broadsides, travel books, children's literature, novels, poetry, pamphlets, sermons, advertisements, etc.  These resources can be found in a wide variety of places, too numerous to mention individually, but may include libraries, historical societies, state and national archives, and private collections.
