Buildings
The Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) archive includes drawings, images, histories, etc. of historic architecture across the U.S. It can be accessed online through the Library of Congress, and is searchable by town or family name. One example found in the online catalog is that of the Robbins-Stone House built in 1740 in Lexington, Massachusetts. The drawings not only feature complete elevations, but details of handrails and door hardware.
